About

I’m a Japanese ceramicist and architect, currently based in London.

I was born in a small southern beach town in Japan called Miyazaki. I moved to London in 2006 and started playing around with clay and learned how to throw on wheel while working as an architect.

Since then I have been passionate about both the materials and the techniques.

My Approach

My work is inspired by Japanese minimal design and natural clay textures as well as the nature surrounding us.

Being an architect, I’m interested in how my works nestle in living environments creating a sense of calmness and intimate connection between spaces and people.
